Relocation

When evaluating job offers be sure to check around for the details of the job. Compare the salary they are offering with those at other companies and be sure you do your research before relocating for a position. Look at the advantages and the sacrifices you will need to make when accepting a new position. There are many other things to consider also. Use the following references and web sites to help you learn how to evaluate and negotiate to start your career on terms you are comfortable with.

Also, when searching periodicals and newspaper indexes to find articles on a region, use the name of the city or state as the subject. “Quality of Life” is another subject heading that is useful.
