Skilled Craftspeople

Skilled craftspeople, which is also referred to as Trade Management in the MAPP assessment, refers to a person who has a specific skill or talent. Some examples would be; an electrician, plumber, cabinetmaker, and mechanic to name a few. So if you have natural motivation and talents in these areas think about pursuing those avenues. Your skills will be in demand. Technology is great but we still need talented individuals to do the hands on that a computer cannot do.

Trade Management also refers to specific skills in the IT Industry. Programming, web development, database management etc. are also specific learned skills. These are areas that will continue to be in demand for years to come. There are many areas and skills to consider within this field.
