Cookie Troubleshooting
If you are having problems getting past the log-in screen, please make sure that your "cookies" have been enabled in your Internet browser. Below you will find ways to enable cookies on some of the more popular browsers.
Internet Explorer 3.0
- Click the View Menu
- Select Options
- Click the Advanced tab at the top of the dialog box
- De-select the "Warn before accepting cookies" option
Internet Explorer 4.0
- Click the View Menu
- Select Internet Options
- Click the Advanced tab at the top of the dialog box
- Scroll down to the "Cookies" section
- Select "Always accept Cookies"
Internet Explorer 5 and higher
- Click the Tools Menu
- Select Internet Options
- Click the privacy tab at the top of the dialog box
- Click the "Edit" button in the Web sites section
- Enter "student.assessment.com" in the dialog box and select "Allow"
- Click OK to both dialog boxes on the screen
Netscape Navigator 4.0
- Click the Edit Menu
- Select Preferences...
- Click the Advanced topic branch on the left
- In the "Cookies" section on the right, select "Accept all Cookies"
Netscape Navigator 7.0
- Click the Edit Menu
- Select Preferences...
- Double-Click the "Privacy & Security" topic branch on the left and select the "Cookies" sub-menu
- Make sure that either "Enable Cookies for the originating website only" or "enable all cookies" are selected.
- Click the "OK" button"
- Select the Tools menu, go to the "Cookie Manager sub-menu" and click on "unblock cookies form this site" (if the option is grayed out, then cookies will be accepted)
Opera 6 & 7
- Click the File Menu
- Select Preferences...
- Select the "Privacy" branch on the left
- Make sure that the "Enable Cookies" option is selected.
- Click the "Manage Cookies" button"
- Click the "New" button"
- Enter "assessment.com" in the dialog box and make sure that "Apply these settings for entire domain" and "accept cookies for server/domain" are both selected
- Click the "OK", "close" and "OK" buttons on the dialog screens that are left open
