Motivational MAPP™, Appraisal of Personal Potential, is available for all TRiO Programs to use as a career assessment tool to help students identify their motivations toward work and learning.
MAPP™ is a self-discovery tool that will help students identify their motivation and passion toward specific work tasks. This will help students choose classes and create a career plan that fits them.
MAPP™ is easy to take online and results are immediately available upon completing the 71-question assessment. Each student will receive a full report, summary reports, and the ability to match themselves to the US Department of Labor’s O*Net jobs database. The MAPP™ O*Net job matching system is a great way for students to research what they would like and dislike about specific jobs. The MAPP™ system also links them to the OOH for further research about each job.
