Part II: Take the MAPP Assessment
To see how easy it is for students to use the MAPP and to understand how to interpret results,
you need to take the assessment yourself. Most people need about 25 minutes to complete
the 71 situations that comprise the assessment. Steps for taking the MAPP are listed below.
You can also use these basic directions as a guide to developing your own instructions for students
and staff at your school.
You can complete the MAPP Assessment at your convenience from any computer with an
Internet connection. Your work is automatically saved, so if you don’t finish the assessment in one
sitting, you can return at any time and begin where you left off by going to http://
student.assessment.com. Click the "Finish MAPP" button at the top of your screen and log-in. Once
you have completed the assessment, you can access your results on-line and use the MAPP Career
Explorer to see which jobs fit you.
